- The Aetna Value Network HMO features a $15 office visit copay and unlimited benefits as long as members receive authorized care within the Aetna Value Network - a select subset of Aetna HMO providers. All care must be coordinated through a primary care physician, just like a traditional HMO plan.
- Our HMO plan includes no up front deductibles and 100% coverage for most authorized services after a $20 office visit copayment for care authorized by your Primary Care Physician.
- Combines the flexibility of a PPO/POS plan with a health reimbursement account that can be used to pay for covered medical expenses.

The EAP is a professional counseling service dedicated to assisting STEC employees and their family members through a period of personal difficulty.
In addition to the company sponsored benefit plans, STEC offers you the opportunity to obtain supplemental accident, disability and critical illness insurance. The Aflac plans are available at low group prices with simplified underwriting. And you can pay for your supplemental benefits through convenient payroll deductions.
After you have been with the Company for at least six months, STEC will reimburse you up to $10,000 per year for undergraduate classes and $15,000 per year for masters degree programs for approved course work. Your reimbursement will be based on the grade you achieve in your course work. An A grade will earn you 100% reimbursement of your tuition and course work related expenses up to the stated limits, and a B grade will earn you 75% reimbursement up to the stated limits.
As a valued employee of STEC, you have the opportunity to enroll in a legal plan from Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. With a legal plan, you have the professional legal help you need to protect yourself and your loved ones from legal difficulties. When you have a legal need that requires legal advice, document review and preparation, or legal representation, you can meet with or call a Network Attorney to get the legal help and protection you need. Attorney fees for most covered matters are 100% paid-in-full when you work with a Network Attorney.
STEC offers free annual flu shots and baseline screenings to help protect employees from becoming sick during peak times of widespread illness.
In conjunction with our group medical insurance plans, Aetna offers a vision discount program that provides discounts on lenses, contact lenses, and frames when you obtain services from a Vision One provider. Routine vision exams are also covered when you receive your exam from participating providers, although frequency limits do apply.
STEC wants to share in your joyful occasion! If you get married or have a baby, STEC pays you a bonus. You will be Paid a $500 bonus when you get married and a $200 bonus for the birth or adoption of a child.
Current employees will be rewarded a referral bonus (from $250 to $5,000, depending upon the position) if the company hires an applicant referred by the employee and both remain employed for 6 months after the hire date.
